Memory Museum
Written by Hannah Stone
We invite you to visit a museum with a difference; a museum alive with local memories in all shapes and sizes. From love stories to hilarious anecdotes the memory museum has all sorts. Join three caretakers after closing time as they attempt to complete an urgent stock take to try to decide which memories to keep and which should be lost.
Watch them as they playfully enact the memories they have gathered until their own secrets begin to tumble out, threatening to jeopordise the collection forever. Embark with the topsy-turvy caretakers on a tour of a museum you’ve never seen before.
There were two versions of this show, one for Mansfield Museum and one for Shire Hall in Dorset.
Feedback
“A wonderful piece of theatre, full of excitement, involvement by the audience, pathos and humour. The actors carried everyone from one memory or event to the next seamlessly”

“I absolutely loved the show last night. I must admit, when we first met and you listened to my ‘stories’, I was wondering how on earth were you going to pull it off. After last night…. you did an amazing job!!!”

“I laughed and cried and felt all of the emotions of the wonderful people who ‘donated’ their memories mixed with a huge feeling of pride and delight from myself”
